Apart from extensive interaction and discussion between the Core Group members and the representatives of the accredited institutions on the work plan, the institutes have suggested following issues for the consideration of the Core Group: -
- In the research works/ case study carried out by Institutes under the NFCG banner, it was suggested that in place of NFCG having sole Intellectual property rights (including copyright) on it, there should be joint Intellectual property rights on the research work /case study between NFCG and the relevant Institute.
- The proposals approved by the BoT of NFCG, should be hosted in the website, from time to time.
- NFCG to also consider granting financial grants in the area of Database development
- As there is no proper Indian vehicle of publication on Corporate Governance, it was suggested to start with a Journal on Corporate Governance on quarterly basis.
- The Accredited Institutes, in the next the Review Meetings, will give a comparison between promised outcomes/deliverables of the projects and actual outcomes and deliverables, in a measurable manner. This will enable the Core Group to evaluate the work of the Accredited Institutions during the period.
The Core Group agreed to look into the aforesaid issues and revert back.
The Accredited institutes appreciated the initiative taken by the NFCG is organising this review meeting and providing them with good opportunity to interact and network with the core group members and other Institutions, stated that they are committed to work with the NFCG in whatever way desired by the Foundation towards promoting the vision and mission of NFCG.
Prof. Balsubramanian proposed to the Core Group to host the next such meeting on Campus in Bangalore, whenever the NFCG decides to convene.
