Roundtable on creation of Independent Directors' Database
Roundtable for creation of database for Independent Directors was organised on 22nd June 2005. The apex chambers and professional bodies were asked to create a data base on Independent Directors on their websites by 15th November 2005 to enable India Inc for meeting increased requirement of independent directors by making available an unbiased, professional and credible data base.
Roundtable on the role of Institutional Investors in the Corporate Governance of their portfolio Companies
Roundtable on "Role of Institutional Investors in the Corporate Governance of their Portfolio Companies" was organized by NFCG in co-operation with World Bank on 17 December 2005 at New Delhi. This Roundtable provided a forum to discuss and debate issues related to the role that institutional investors should have with regard to corporate governance, in terms of disclosure policies and management of their voting rights in their portfolio companies.
