2^nd Director's Leadership Programme (Module III)
Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in collaboration with NFCG had organized the Module - III of "2^nd Directors' Leadership Programme" on February 9 - 10, 2007 at Kolkata. The module III was - Roundtable on Strategic Risk Management. The objective of this programme was to provide an opportunity to the Directors to gain fresh insights through informal yet rigorous discussions with the faculty and peers and also provide a platform to improve leadership skills, capabilities and understanding of General Management Practices including the Corporate Governance practices.

Seminar on Emerging Corporate Governance Practices in India
Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad in collaboration with NFCG organized a Seminar on "Emerging Corporate Governance Practices in India" on 10 March 2007 at Mumbai. The objective of this seminar was to address the policy issues in bringing about effective Corporate Governance practices so that good governance goes beyond regulatory compliance to self-regulation and a way of life in corporate India.

Corporate Governance Breakfast meeting
A breakfast meeting aimed to facilitate dissemination of the changing trends of corporate governance by way of holding interactive sessions with CEOs focusing on governance, accountability, transparency ethics, compliance and trust was organized by CII under NFCG sponsorship on March 23, 2007 at Bangalore. This meeting was chaired by Mr. Y C Deveshwar, Chairman, ITC Ltd.

National Seminar on Corporate Compliance Management
"National Seminar on Corporate Compliance Management", was organized by ICSI under sponsorship of NFCG on March 29, 2007 at New Delhi. The seminar focused on best practices in Corporate Compliance Management.

Faculty Development Programme in Corporate Governance
Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in collaboration with NFCG had organized a "Faculty Development Programme in Corporate Governance' on May 21-26, 2007 at Bangalore. The objective of this programme was to provide rigorous training and inputs to assist teaching faculty in enhancing and enriching their knowledge and teaching skill in the field of Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Citizenship, etc.

Symposium on Corporate Governance through Audit Committee
'Symposium on Corporate Governance thought Audit Committee', was organized by ICAI under the sponsorship of NFCG on June 27, 2007 at New Delhi. The symposium focused on the current scenario of Corporate Governance practices in India and related issues with special emphasis on Audit Committee.

3rd Corporate Directors" Programme on Audit Committees
The 3rd Corporate Directors" Programme on Audit Committees was organized by Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) in partnership with NFCG on July 29-31, 2007 & August 1, 2007 at Bangalore. The programme focused on Corporate Governance and the evolution & role of Audit Committees.

Seminar on "Transparency and Disclosures for better Corporate Governance"
The Seminar on "Transparency and Disclosures for better Corporate Governance" was organized by Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies in partnership with NFCG on September 9, 2007 at Pune. The Seminar deliberated on how to improve transparency and disclosures not only for better compliance of Corporate Governance regulations, but also to improve the image and ratings of the organizations and how inadequate disclosures and lack of transparency could affect the image and ratings of their organizations.

Workshop on Corporate Governance for Teachers
The two day workshop on Corporate Governance for Teachers was organized by University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, in partnership with NFCG on October 18-19, 2007 at Chandigarh. The workshop familarised the teachers with the conceptual and practical underpinning of Corporate Governance.

7^th Corporate Governance Orientation Programme for Company Directors
The "7^th Corporate Governance Orientation Programme for Company" was organised by Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) in partnership with NFCG on November 26-28, 2007 at Bangalore. The Programme offered a board level perspective on Corporate Governance, with coverage not limited to Indian legislative and regulatory environment but extend to International best practice and development.

Effective Independent Director for better Corporate Governance
Orientation programme on 'Effective Independent Director for better Corporate Governance' was organized by Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) in partnership with NFCG on December 8, 2007 at Pune. The objective of the programme was to enhance the quality in functioning of an Independent Directors for better Corporate Governance.

3^rd Directors' Leadership Programme (Module I)
The First Module of the 3^rd Directors' Leadership Programme was organized by Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) in partnership with NFCG on December 14-15, 2007 at Kolkata. The first module was for Directors other than Finance Directors. The programme provided opportunity to gain fresh insight of the Board through informal yet rigorous discussions with the participants and thus provide a platform to improve leadership skills and understanding of general management practices.
